Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Inventory Clerk to provide logistical support for our Managed Services team. 
 

The responsibilities of the position may include:

  • Manage and maintain all inventory, parts or products
  • Manage the stock/inventory room (the IT “BATCAVE”)
  • Work with technicians, engineers, Account Management and/or Customer Success Managers to provide inventory information for customer service issues
  • Communicate with vendors (Dell, Ingram Micro, etc.) about orders
  • Coordinate/communicate with shipping companies; track parcels inbound and outbound from WingSwept
  • Communicate with customers as needed for service-related activities
  • Coordinate with VP of Managed Services and other Directors/Supervisors as required
  • Maintain a flexible attitude in dealing with changing circumstances and priorities
  • Identify risk and escalate to the appropriate resource for mitigation

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be legally in the US and able to pass a US government background check
  • High school diploma
  • Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation for travel as far as 75 miles from the office
  • Must be able to work a full-time 40-hour work week
  • Computer skills working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Must have an affinity for technology, communication, business and building relationships
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for daily interactions with employees and customers
  • Ability & willingness to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a calm demeanor and maintaining a “win/win” attitude
  • Ability to operate with keen attention-to-detail

Extra consideration given for any of the following:

  • Previous experience in inventory management
  • Previous experience with logistics (e.g., shipping, receiving, lost/damaged packages)
  • Previous experience managing IT assets
  • Previous experience in customer service roles
