Description
WingSwept is an award-winning, employee-owned technology service provider, comprised of three distinct business units that cater to SMB and B2G clients. We are seeking a Marketing & Client Engagement Manager who will be chiefly responsible for nurturing ongoing opportunities for our Managed Services Division. You will also be significantly involved in our overall Marketing operations, helping to generate relevant digital and print content, event coordination, and employer branding initiatives. This individual will sit in on initial discovery meetings with managed services prospects and follow up with prospects over varying sales cycles, with the goal of building relationships and ultimately assisting the sales team in securing new business. As part of that process, the successful candidate will carry out various nurturing activities by phone, email, event invitations, personalized gifting, and other creative activities.

The responsibilities of the position may include:
- Learn the features and benefits for all products and services sold in the division
- Complete initial training program and attend weekly sales meetings for recurring training
- Maintain a professional attitude in dealing with customers, prospects, and staff members
- Clearly and accurately explain features and benefits to prospects in non-technical terms
- Work efficiently within our various sales tools
- Maintain accurate notes and update records for all applicable prospects
- Sit in on initial discovery meetings with prospects and carry out follow-up tasks, including document generation, additional scheduling, frequent check-ins, etc.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing teams to close new business, to include assisting in coordination of events, webinars, and occasional marketing content generation
- Assist the Sales Development team in identifying target accounts and individual prospects within NC and VA markets who fit our ideal customer profile. This will primarily be done via LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and prospect referrals
The responsibilities of the position may include:
- Learn the features and benefits for all products and services sold in each division.
- Maintain accurate notes, calendars, tasks for both prospect related activities and internal Marketing initiatives.
- Sit in on initial discovery meetings with prospects and carry out follow-up tasks, including frequent check-ins via phone, email, in-person visits, and mail.
- Coordinate prospect/client nurturing events, including bourbon tastings, VIP sporting events, and other creative activities.
- Attend occasional off-site events, networking functions, and membership organizations with the goal of representing WingSwept in the community and nurturing prospect/client relationships.
- In conjunction with our Marketing Coordinator, generate new sales leads across all divisions through various marketing efforts, including:
- Email campaigns
- Coordinated Events & Webinars
- Social Media Management
- Digital Content Creation
- Coordinated drop-off campaigns
- Take part in writing regular marketing content, to include:
- Brochures, whitepapers, and blogs
- Scriptwriting and project guidance for corporate videos and webinars
- Develop and execute employer-branding campaigns, including:
- Seeking publicity opportunities and acting as liaison with external media and advertising
- Circulating press releases and submitting award nominations for media and community attention
Minimum requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Must present a polished, professional image to prospects
- Must be able to work a full-time 40-hour work week which may include after-hours functions
- Able to learn new environments and technologies quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers on a daily basis
- Must have a great attitude and desire to go the extra mile in building relationships with prospects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and flexible, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and balance the needs of multiple clients.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
