We are seeking to add a full-time, entry-level Accounting Clerk to our growing team. If you have a degree in accounting, we are willing to train! Compensation for the Accounting Clerk position includes a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including employee stock ownership, profit sharing and a fully-vested 401(k) with matching contributions.

Responsibilities:

This position will report directly to our VP of Finance and work closely with the rest of the finance team. Responsibilities include:

  • Accounts Payable for multiple Divisions
  • Expense Report management
  • Accounts Receivable (for internal controls)
  • Data entry and source document analysis

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alignment with WingSwept’s core values of being Honest, Eager, Accountable, Respectful and a Team Player
  • Degree in accounting
  • Working knowledge of and experience with QuickBooks Desktop a plus
  • Some accounting or business experience preferred
  • Evidence of strong grasp of accounting principles
  • Evidence of ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, process-driven, skilled in data entry & data management, and competent in math
  • Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation
  • Must be able to follow established processes
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a calm demeanor
  • Firm grasp of technology and how to use MS Office products, Microsoft Outlook and Excel specifically
  • Experience working with basic office equipment
  • Must be able to work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week in office
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
