About the job
Our Network Support Division is looking for a personable, outgoing network engineer with a high level of knowledge and experience who loves interacting with customers and putting out fires. This individual will work collaboratively within the division to support our clients’ technical PC, server, and network related needs. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, especially as applied within team and service-delivery settings. He or she has previously provided server/network support with other IT service providers for SMB customers. This is a full-time salary position with benefits to include bonuses, profit sharing, paid time off, health/life/AD&D/disability insurance, and 401(k) with matching contributions.

Minimum requirements:

  • Each WingSwept employee is expected to adhere to our core values of being Honest, Eager, Accountable, Respectful, and a Team Player. 
  • Must be eligible for employment in the US and able to pass a US government background check
  • High school diploma, at least two years of secondary education preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel as far as 75 miles from the office
  • Must submit to a motor vehicle report and show proof of insurance
  • Must be able to work a full-time 40-hour work week with occasional after-hours support
  • Exceptional computer and system administration skills on Microsoft-based clients and servers
  • Minimum of 3 years IT experience
  • Firm understanding of network fundamentals
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interactions with customers on a daily basis both in person and on the phone
  • Ability & willingness to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a calm demeanor and maintaining a “win/win” attitude

Extra consideration given for:

  • Prior managed services experience
  • Prior experience with SonicWall, VMWare, Datto, and/or Kaseya
  • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE certifications
