WingSwept is a fast-paced web and information technology consulting firm dealing with a large cross section of projects and industries.  WingSwept’s portfolio of clients includes small & medium sized businesses, non-profits, educational institutions, federal government agencies and Fortune 500 companies.

Job summary:  WingSwept has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, creative individual who can lead our marketing efforts by generating leads for recurring revenue across all corporate divisions. This position will require the ability to develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet our organizational objectives.  This is a full-time position with benefits to include performance based bonuses, 401(k) with matching contributions, medical/dental benefits, corporate chaplain, and a flexible work schedule.

The responsibilities of the position will include:
 
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects and be able to report results
  • Determine and manage marketing budget to include events, sponsorships and campaigns
  • Seek publicity opportunities and act as liaison with media and advertising
  • Work closely with graphic design and key members across all divisions to execute projects
  • Copywriting and search engine optimization for internal projects and custom website projects
  • Script writing and project guidance for corporate YouTube videos
  • Content writing for various activities across all company divisions
  • Articulate new ideas to improve company-wide marketing efforts and drive the bottom line
  • Assist human resources to improve and measure employee satisfaction
  • Correspond with current, prospective and past customers via email campaigns
  • Circulate press releases and submit award nominations for media attention
Minimum requirements
 
  • Previous experience in multiple marketing environments
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Must exemplify creativity when producing new marketing strategies
  • Firm grasp of technology and how to use MS Office products and other applications
  • Ability to conduct research via the web and apply knowledge towards new research methods
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel as far as 75 miles from the office
  • Technical marketing skills and experience with relevant software applications
  • Must have excellent verbal and telephone communication skills including public speaking
  • Must present a professional and dignified image to applicants, partners and peers
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
 
Compensation
 
Compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate.  Salary history and references are required.
