WingSwept is filling a position for a client located in Palmetto, Florida. The Helpdesk Administrator will be responsible for handling a multitude of issues necessary for the success of the client's operations across all locations.

The primary responsibilities for this individual will include working tickets assigned as well as providing project management, tracking and follow-through for technical projects. These tickets will primary involve desktop, basic network wiring , time clock, and certain line of business application support as well as printers and phone related issues. This position will not be responsible for server maintenance or complex network infrastructure, but may be asked to help on these projects as needed.  This individual will report to the vCIO for all technical direction.

Being courteous and helpful to users without being condescending or abrupt is a must. It is also important that this person keep up with detailed notes within the ticketing system as work is completed in order to allow for continuity of operations and to mitigate risks.  

As the client's operations span from coast to coast it is expected that travel will be required as part of this position. In most cases the travel will be scheduled, but in some cases it may become necessary to make an emergency trip. The expectation for this position is 40 hours per week, but over-time may be required depending on the needs of the job. It should also be expected that the job will require occasional night and weekend work. As with any position like this one keeping a reasonable check on email outside of working hours is essential.
This position requires at least three years of experience in a similar role and a strong knowledge of business to include operations support and prioritization.
