Job Summary
WingSwept has a need for an Accounting Clerk as our company is continuing to grow.  This is a full-time salaried position with benefits that include life/AD&D/disability insurance, 401(K) with matching contributions, and Medical/Dental insurance.  This position will report directly to our Director of Finance and handle many day-to-day accounting responsibilities.  Our ideal candidate for this position is a great communicator and has an affinity for organization.  Our ideal candidate can tackle new problems using available tools and successfully remedy issues with little supervision.  Thriving in an environment characterized by processes to solve problems will also be reflected in this person’s demeanor.  Managing the day-to-day financial duties will encompass a large part of this position along with working closely to the Director of Finance to keep our processes up-to-date and efficient.  An overall great attitude will be evident in our choice of candidate.

Minimum Requirements 
  • High school diploma with at least two years of secondary education in accounting or at least 2 years of accounting training or job experience
  • Firm understanding of the basic accounting principles
  • Previous accounting experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a calm demeanor
  • Some experience with Quickbooks preferred     
  • Firm grasp of technology and how to use MS Office products
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
